The atmosphere here definitely caught my attention as it was lively and welcoming. The food was of a good quality, especially the duck, but some dishes seemed inconsistent. Staff were friendly, though I felt a little rushed at times. It's a charming spot worth revisiting.

I stayed in a room with a four-poster bed and loved the character of it. The historic vibe was amazing with original beams and cozy decor. The feather duvet made for a super comfy sleep. Bathroom lighting was surprisingly good, a win in the morning. Just the church bells ringing from 7am were a bit much for my liking, but that's the charm of the place!

The decor at The Crown is steeped in history, with charming wooden beams and an inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to relax, even for my aging knees. The ample seating areas ensured I could rest whenever needed.
Better accessibility options for seniors would be ideal.
